Husky buggy tours

Long before the first snowfall, our huskies get back into shape by pulling a side-by-side training buggy along the trails and lakeshores around the kennel. It is a working day for the team and a rare chance for you to see how sled dogs are prepared for winter.

You help harness the dogs, then sit comfortably in the buggy, right behind the team, while your guide drives. Back at the kennel, there is time to meet the whole pack, from the veterans to the youngest dogs.

No experience needed and nothing to drive: a wonderful way to discover the Yukon and its huskies outside winter, and a favourite with families.
