Available daily throughout the winter season, our half-day Yukon dog sledding tour is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of mushing. Ideal for families, couples, photographers, and adventure seekers, this guided husky sledding experience offers a memorable journey through the breathtaking winter landscapes of the Southern Lakes region.
Your adventure begins with a safety orientation and an introduction to our friendly Yukon sled dogs, dog sled equipment, and basic mushing techniques. Once everyone is comfortable, we'll harness the team and head out onto the trail.
Travel through snow-covered forests, along scenic wilderness routes, and down to the shores of spectacular Bennett Lake near Carcross. Along the way, you'll follow sections of the historic White Pass Trail, once used by Klondike Gold Rush stampeders travelling to the Yukon.
Enjoy approximately two hours of dog sledding through pristine northern wilderness while learning about Yukon history, sled dog culture, and winter life in Canada's North.

Join us for an unforgettable full-day dog sledding tour in Yukon and experience the thrill of travelling through the northern wilderness behind a team of enthusiastic sled dogs.
After a comprehensive safety briefing and introduction to your dog team, we'll depart on a guided mushing adventure through the stunning landscapes surrounding Carcross. The trail follows portions of the historic White Pass route, crosses the scenic Watson River, and may include a spectacular run along the frozen shoreline of Bennett Lake, conditions permitting.
Spend the day immersed in Yukon wilderness as you learn the fundamentals of dog sledding, work alongside your team of huskies, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the snow-covered backcountry.
Midway through the adventure, and depending on weather conditions, we might stop at our traditional wilderness camp nestled in the forest. Here, both dogs and guests can enjoy a well-earned break. Warm up beside a wood stove inside a traditional Canadian wall tent while enjoying snacks and hot beverages before continuing your journey.
The afternoon offers additional opportunities to experience the excitement of mushing through remote winter landscapes before returning safely to our kennel.
