DAY

1

On the first day of your Yukon overnight dog sledding trip, we will meet at your hotel in Whitehorse and drive to our base in Carcross, Yukon.

Your guide, after having introduced you to your team of northern huskies, will explain the methods of dog sled driving. With a little help, you will be off on your short journey into the frozen north.

Your dog sledding adventure begins! Mush. You will drive your dog team through the amazing landscapes Yukon has to offer and will experience the thrills of dog mushing. As the hours pass, you will become more used to driving the sled and part of the team. Your guide will have lunch made for guests and snacks for the dogs. Our Yukon dog sledding adventure continues as we travel deeper into the wilderness to reach the location of our camp. Later at night, after a good meal and the comfort of a warm camp, maybe a chance to see the northern lights or hear wolves howling.

DAY

2

This morning your guide will cook a warm breakfast. It's time for a short snowshoe hike. Maybe a chance to see a moose or wolf tracks. We will pack our sleds and it will be time to be on our journey back home, mushing our way through more breath taking Yukon scenery. Once at camp and after having said goodbye to the huskies, your guide will drive you back to the hotel in Whitehorse.

This is the end of your Yukon dog sledding adventure but there are many attractions to visit in Whitehorse. Take time to explore the 'Wilderness City'.
